JESSE A. TRUESDAIL, SR.
of Owego, NY


Jesse A. Truesdail, Sr., 79, of Owego, NY passed away on Thursday morning, January 14, 2010 at home. He was born December 2, 1930 the son of the late Allen and Ethel (Nichols) Truesdail. He was predeceased by two brothers and a step-great granddaughter, Nikki Watkins. Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Dora (Estes) Truesdail; Three children, Jesse (Barbara) Truesdail, Spencer, Ralph (Julie) Truesdail, Owego, John(Angel) Truesdail, Owego, 9 grandchildren, three great grandchildren. Jesse was a member of the Candor American Legion and the Owego Moose Club where he had been honored as a fellow. He loved spending time outdoors and especially loved hunting and fishing. A lifelong mechanic and a master automotive alignment technician, Jesse operated Jess and Clair’s Texaco Station in Owego where he had the special opportunity to conduct the 1st NYS Inspection in Tioga County on the Mayor’s car. He will be remembered for mastering his trade and having a tremendous love for his family.
