MARION L. ZORN
of Owego, NY
Marion L. Zorn, 92, of Owego, NY, passed away early Saturday, Jan. 30, 2009 at Riverview Manor, Owego, NY. She was born on June 13, 1917 the daughter of the late Fred and Maude Howe. She was predeceased by her step mother, Mildred Howe, and two brothers, Gilbert and Carl Howe. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Clarence; 2 children, Cecile Zorn, Lyons, NY, Owen “Tom” (Janet) Zorn, Owego; one sister, Lucille Bostwick; eight grandchildren, Luann (Paul) Lewandowski, Misty Flock, Suzette (Andy) Porter, Maryanne (Stephan) Bogardus, Thomas (Maureen) Zorn, Rob (Jennifer) Zorn, Jason Zorn, Molly Zorn; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Marion was a lifelong member of the Germany Hill United Methodist Church where she was active in many areas. She also was a member of the Tioga County Grange Organization and was involved with the local Senior Citizens Clubs. She will be sadly missed by all.
Funeral Services will be held at Richards Funeral Home, 3670 Waverly Rd, Owego, NY 13827 on Monday, February 1, 2009 at 2:00pm with Rev. Robert Abel, her pastor, officiating. Friends are invited to call at Richards Funeral Home on Monday, prior to the services, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Burial will be at a later date in Tioga Cemetery, Owego.
